Belgian waffle

Ingredients

  • Flour: 1000g

  • Butter: 500g

  • Caster sugar: 1000g

  • Eggs: 12

  • Milk: ½ litre

  • A pinch of salt

  • Vanilla sugar: According to taste

Preparation

  • Step 1

    Mix the flour with the sugar and incorporate the melted butter, egg yolks and milk. Mix everything well.

  • Step 2

    Beat the egg whites until stiff (with a pinch of salt), incorporate them into the mixture.

  • Step 3

    Leave the batter to rest for at least three hours.

Baking

  • Cooking temperature ± 180°. Position 6.

  • Cooking time: +/- 3 min.
